Looking here, you can see that I just barely scraped my goal of 20 followers on this new Wildlife account. You can also see that I have linked my main account and this account on my main so that there's a chance of more interaction through followers. I have also linked my Wix site for a portfolio of work for people to look at and my YouTube, also for people to interact with.

Here are the 4 posts that I planned to release last week. Looking back at my Metrics Calendar, I can see that I estimated to get around 200 impressions for each post and for each post I got around 150 impressions. You can see the actual views for each video which is around 1/5 of the total impressions, I planned to get around 30 clicks per video and 2 out of 3 of them achieved this goal. I did upload the 3rd video most recently so it probably hasn't received as much interaction, however it did get 2 comments from some bots telling me to follow @Filmmakers_World. I wanted to receive around 5 likes for each post and other than the Red Squirrel and Peacock video, which got 3 likes each, I managed to reach this goal.

For the photo collage, I hit the like goal and got around 130 impressions which is close to my prediction at the start of the unit of 150.

Here are the YouTube analytics over the past month which include the 3 uploads. Overall, I got 154 impressions with a 7.1% click through rate, 19 views with 13 unique, new viewers. Looking back at my planned metric calendar, I can see that I have exceeded the goal I set, of 100 impressions but for each video, I would have only got around 50 impressions. Each video was around 2-4 minutes long so to have an average view duration of 1 minute is quite good for me. On YouTube, I can also see where the viewers have come from as I have linked my Instagram and Wix site. First, it shows traffic from all aspects of YouTube, channel pages and external being my most. Then you can see the external traffic, from Instagram and Wix (being the higher percentages). Finally, you can see the 25% of viewers who searched by key words like 'Brownsea Island' and 'Peacocks'.

How I can improve my content calendar and metric calendar for next time is to constantly keep releasing teasers and stories saying that there's a big video in production and just try to build engagement for a big piece of content. For example, I could make the Western Wildlife idea I had planned before the climate change project for the M-Shed. With this, I could release small teasers from the main edit over time and some BTS of me filming in a forest or where ever. With this video, I would have to spend a lot of time trying to film certain species of animals and gathering information on them whilst also making it engaging. So, for next time I plan a piece of Wildlife content I would gather more of a following and engagement around the content.
